Many Locust Valley homes have chimneys built with older materials that weren’t designed for today’s high-efficiency fireplaces or wood stoves. We know the quirks of your neighborhood’s architecture—from brick-lined flues to modern stainless steel inserts—and we’ll treat your chimney like it’s ours. Our team has worked on homes along Locust Valley Road and in nearby neighborhoods, so we recognize the signs of wear and know how to fix them right. No two chimneys are the same, and we take the time to explain why your system needs what it needs.
We won’t lowball you with a quick sweep and then hit you with hidden repair costs later. Every job starts with a free, no-pressure inspection where we’ll show you exactly what we find—creosote levels, flue condition, vent blockages—and give you a clear estimate before we start. If repairs are needed, we’ll walk you through the options in plain English, so you can decide what’s best for your home without feeling pressured. Our goal is to make your chimney or dryer vent safe and efficient, not to sell you unnecessary services.
If your chimney backs up smoke into your home or your dryer starts overheating, you need help now. We offer same-day service for emergencies and prioritize Locust Valley homeowners who call after hours. Our team is licensed, insured, and equipped to handle urgent repairs—whether it’s a blocked flue, a cracked liner, or a lint fire hazard. You’ll always get a real person on the phone, not an automated system, and we’ll arrive with everything we need to fix the problem on the first visit. No waiting weeks for a ‘convenient’ time.
If you’re new to maintaining a chimney or dryer vent, we’ll treat you like family—not like a walk-in customer. We’ll explain terms like ‘creosote’ and ‘draft pressure’ in plain language, show you how to spot problems early, and even send you a follow-up email with maintenance tips for your specific system. Locust Valley’s older homes have unique needs, and we’ll make sure you understand yours.
